Drayton has launched a new online training academy as part of its installer loyalty scheme, the 9° Network. 9° Know How gives members exclusive access to product training, best practice installation advice, troubleshooting tips and more.
The first available training module is focused on Wiser, Drayton’s smart multi-zone heating system, and allows installers to achieve Wiser Approved status from the comfort of their own home.

November saw the launch of a brand-new range of the popular Digistat with a Service Interval feature, developed to extend and improve the range of programmable thermostats on offer and meet the demands of the Local Authority contract business.
Key features of the new product include a flexible service interval mode with three options and adjustable warning/service periods, i.e. reduced comfort setting, completely off setting and no effect setting.  Also included is a selectable audible alarm and boost feature.

After well over a year in the marketplace, we’re looking back on the journey of Wiser from new kit on the block to leading multi-zone smart heating control system.

If you’ve not seen it yet, Wiser is our beautifully simple multi-zone heating system. Easy to install from app to thermostat, Wiser is the altogether better, smarter, easier way to personalise home heating.
Since Summer 2018, we’ve been on the road providing smart heating controls training to professionals across the UK mainland, giving them the exclusive opportunity to become a Wiser Approved Installer. As the roadshow continues this winter, we’re looking for more qualified professionals to promote and install the Wiser heating system.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve launched a Wiser channel on ‘If This Then That’ (IFTTT), the Internet of Things platform, for use with our Wiser range of smart heating controls.
IFTTT is a web-based service that can be used to create Applets, which are commands that pair up smart devices in ways that can make life easier. This combines two basic elements - a trigger (‘If This’) and an action (‘Then That’).

To celebrate the 25-year anniversary of not one, but two of its leading products- the Lifestyle LP programmer and the iconic TRV4 – Drayton is giving back with an exciting giveaway to celebrate the milestone.

Once again this year we are supporting Comic Relief by fundraising for Red Nose Day 2017 with our quirky ‘Brainspotting’ campaign!
We’ve taken inspiration from the silver screen and created our very own movie poster – ‘Brainspotting’ - featuring some of the key faces in the Drayton family.
Film buffs will be familiar with the iconic poster, originally created for the movie Trainspotting, based on the book by Irvine Welsh.
Our version of the poster introduces Tech Head, Boss Lady, Plastic Boy, The Supplier and Space Cadet, who are the brains behind the brand.

Drayton has joined forces with its local community charity, Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), to provide free heating controls as part of a campaign to help the most vulnerable people living in the city.
As part of the PEC ‘Healthy Homes’ project, which has been funded by a charitable grant from the British Gas Energy Trust, Drayton has donated over 200 heating controls, worth in the region of £10,000.
