Back to basics – room control with traditional TRVs

In 2022 Nesta commissioned some research to understand the effects of lowering the flow temperature of combi condensing boilers and how much energy can be saved.  Within these controlled tests they used Drayton Auto-balancing TRVs to ensure a fully balanced system as a start point.

Last week the government Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy announced the news that a number of training organisations across England have been awarded funding to deliver accredited training programmes to boost numbers of skilled retrofit, energy efficiency and heat pump installers.
The courses will be free or heavily subsidised and will provide retraining opportunities for people already working or looking to start roles in the green energy sector.
