Energy Efficiency

With the cost of living increasing it's important to be as energy efficient as possible. Upgrading your basic heating controls to a best practice room thermostat can achieve savings of up to 12%. Click on the tabs below to find out more about how to make your home more energy efficient.

The Research

Discover the facts and savings you could be making.

BEAMA research has shown that by upgrading your basic heating controls to a best practice room thermostat (e.g. programmable room thermostat) you can achieve savings of up to 12%.

Furthermore, by installing a smart programmable room thermostat, savings of up to 6% can be achieved.

The research also shows that if you add individual room control, for example traditional TRVs or smart radiator thermostats, you can reduce energy use by 19%.  This saving is made by not heating the rooms you're not using!

In summary, BEAMA suggests it's not a case of adding these figures together, but by calculating cumulative savings in a logical manner, a total of up to 30% of energy can be saved by upgrading basic heating controls to a smart multi-zone heating system.

So by installing our award winning Wiser Multi-zone system, you could save up to £450 a year on your heating bills.
