How much are energy costs going up by?

According to Ofgem, prices are set to rise by around 54% this April, pushing the average annual bill up by a staggering £693, to around £2000 a year.

What is Insights+?

The Wiser Home app’s all new feature, Insights+, is more advanced version of Insights which every user currently has access to. By integrating data from an eligible smart meter, Insights+ can learn even more from the system and its energy use to provide:

Using easy-to-read charts and visuals, Insights+ gives households more power to reduce energy use, monthly spend and carbon footprint, helping homeowners make more sustainable choices too.

How much energy can Insights+ save?

Research shows that Insights+ alone could help a household save 7% on heating and hot water bills, that’s nearly £40 a year based on the average annual bill*. Combine this with Wiser’s other energy-saving Smart Modes, and there’s the chance to save big on future heating bills.

How do you get Insights+?

To get Insights+, the homeowner will simply make a one-off purchase of our in-home display for £14.99 direct from our online shop, which connects Wiser to an eligible smart meter. Follow the steps below to activate Insights+ and start saving:

1. 1. Check eligibility in the Settings menu of the Wiser Home app – Insights+ is compatible with certain smart meters
2. 2. Purchase our in-home display (IHD) – A smart display that connects Wiser with the smart meter
3. 3. Install the IHD – Simply plug in and connect to the home Wi-Fi
4. 4. Activate Insights+ via the Wiser Home app and let Wiser do the rest
